Andrew Saunders, MSW, LCSW, LCAC, CADAC IV, ICOGS
Andrew is a licensed clinician with experience across substance use disorder treatment, co-occurring mental health care, outpatient and residential settings, and integrated behavioral health systems. He currently practices as an independent therapist with Evermore Therapy & Wellness Group and has worked with the Indiana Addictions Issues Coalition through Mental Health America of Indiana on policy, systems-level initiatives, and recovery-oriented programming. Andrew brings a strong background in assessment, group facilitation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public health work, including participation in opioid fatality review and community-based education efforts. He also serves in nonprofit governance roles within recovery-focused organizations. In addition to his professional training, Andrew draws on lived experience in addiction and long-term recovery, informing a practical, person-centered, and stigma-reducing approach to integrated behavioral health care.

Daniel O'Donnell, MD
Dr. O'Donnell currently serves as the Chief of Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services. Prior to that, Dr. O'Donnell served as the Chief Medical Director for IEMS and Indianapolis Fire Department. Additionally, Dr. O'Donnell is a clinical professor of Emergency Medicine at IU Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. O'Donnell received his B.S. from the University of Michigan and attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. O'Donnell completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2007 and then went on to complete his Emergency Medical Services Fellowship at IU in 2008. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. O'Donnell serves as the Medical Director of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department SWAT team.

David Butterfield, PharmD
David is a Clinical Pharmacist at the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Adult Outpatient Clinic, where he sees clients with various mental health diagnoses. Additionally, David serves as the Residency Coordinator for the PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency Program at Eskenazi Health/Purdue University and is responsible for oversight of research, teaching, committee work, and clinical development of the residents.

Dean Babcock, MSW, LCSW, LCAC
Dean is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor and has spent his professional career working in health care and mental health care systems in the Indianapolis area.

Emily Zarse, MD
Dr. Zarse is currently an addiction psychiatrist at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at Indiana University in 2016 and Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship in 2017. She has been the program director for Community's Addiction Medicine Fellowship since it started in 2021. She consulted with Project POINT at Eskenazi Health prior to her departure in 2019. Dr. Zarse is the medical consultant for the Indiana State Medical Association's Physician Assistance Program and has served in numerous leadership roles in the Indiana Psychiatric Society, currently serving as a Deputy Assembly Representative. She practices outpatient addiction psychiatry and enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Gloria Haynes, CAPRCII, MATS
Gloria is the Lead Peer Recovery Coach in Eskenazi Hospital's Emergency Department with Project POINT.

Philip Campbell
Philip is the Supervisor for Project POINT and a person in long-term recovery. He is certified as Peer Recovery Coach II, Supervisor of Peer Recovery, and MATS. In 2018 he accepted a position with Eskenazi Health as a Care Coordinator and liaison between the emergency department and adult addictions at Midtown Mental Health, and after a year transitioned to Supervisor. Project POINT is a team of Certified Peer Recovery Coaches and a Licensed Social Worker who offer wraparound services to anyone who presents to the emergency department at Eskenazi Hospital. The program has evolved from an overdose prevention initiative to one that focuses on patients' social determinants of health and breaks down barriers to recovery. Since 2019, Project POINT has grown from two peers to a 6-member, 7-day-a-week team serving over 4,500 patients each year.

Michael Wagner, PhD, F-ABFT
Dr. Wagner is recognized as a Fellow with the American Board of Forensic Toxicology (F-ABFT) and is DHHS/NY certified. Currently serving as a faculty member at IU School of Science and IUSM, he previously held the position of Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology/Toxicology and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at IUSM. As Laboratory Director for Witham Health Services – Toxicology Department, Dr. Wagner provided clinical services across Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, OB-GYN, Psychiatry, and Addiction Monitoring (MAT programs), as well as statewide toxicology testing for medical-legal programs including probation, court behavioral programs, the Department of Child Services, and workplace monitoring. His expertise spans environmental, clinical, and forensic toxicology, with a focus on bio-distribution studies, pharmacogenomics, drug metabolism, drug-drug interactions, and metal toxicity. He is a member of ADLM (Association of Diagnostic and Laboratory Medicine) and SOFT (Society of Forensic Toxicology).

Tyler Stepsis, MD
Dr. Stepsis completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2002 and his Emergency Medicine residency at IU School of Medicine in 2005. After several years in a community-based practice in Avon, IN, he returned to academic medicine at Eskenazi Health, where he currently serves as Medical Director of the Emergency Department. His clinical interests include difficult airway curriculum development, trauma and critical care improvement, and simulation education for emergency medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Stepsis also serves as a track physician for the IndyCar Safety Team.
