About Project ECHO
Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a cost-free partnership between primary care providers and Indiana University specialists to improve the treatment of opioid use disorders in rural and underserved areas. ECHO uses technology to facilitate mentoring and knowledge sharing, enabling clinicians to provide best practice care for complex and chronic diseases in their communities.
Clinicians, behavioral health providers, and community health workers are invited to participate in the Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) ECHO program, led by addiction experts from the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Benefits of ECHO Participation
- Free continuing medical education (CME) credits and continuing education units (CEUs)
- The opportunity to present challenging cases and receive feedback from IU specialists and peers
- Open access to ECHO references and resources
- Build professional connections with specialists and other healthcare providers
