Mike Mitcheff, DO, CHCQM
is Regional Medical Director (state-wide) for Wexford Health Indiana, which manages the clinical services for the State Prisons through Indiana Dept of Corrections.
Maria Blaze, Pharm D
earned her PharmD from Auburn University, in Auburn AL. After graduation she completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with a focus in mental health at the VA South Texas in San Antonio, TX.

She then went on to complete a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at the VA Western NY in Buffalo, NY. Upon completion of her residencies, she served as the first psychiatric trained pharmacist at the VA Iliana in Danville IL where she implemented the first independent pharmacist ran clinics for which included a general mental health, Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI), and substance use disorder practice. Currently, Dr. Blaze serves as a Mental Health Pharmacy Provider at the Memphis VA.
Jason Beyer, Psychologist
is a clinical psychologist working in outpatient mental health at the Indianapolis, IN Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.

Jason is a clinical supervisor for the pre-doctoral psychology internship program. His passions and interest are working with veterans who have varied clinical presentations. He has worked in residential substance use treatment facilities and specializes in the treatment of trauma.
Frank Young, NP
Frank became a nurse in 2003 and started work at Community Hospital in Cardiac Critical Care.
It was there that he realized that addictive behavior is at the root of most disease. He continued to work
in cardiac care with a focus on CHF and diabetes.

Frank moved on to taking care of patients in urgent care
situations where it was also evident that mental health problems and addiction were causing far too much sickness.
When his precious granddaughter died of a heroin/fentanyl overdose in 2020, Frank rededicated himself to the treatment
of substance use disorder, harm reduction and the prevention of anymore senseless death. Frank's primary challenge is
not only turning people away from needless death, but also trying to turn people toward embracing the beauty that
surrounds us when our eyes are open in the clear light of sobriety free from the chains of addiction.
Ayesha Nichols, MD
Dr. Ayesha Nichols is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. She has been serving at the VA Medical Center Indianapolis as the medical director of Substance Use Disorder Recovery program since 2015.

She is appointed as the assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine Dept of Psychiatry. She also serves as a Lieutenant Commander in US Navy Reserves Medical Corp since 2019. It is her life’s mission to decrease the stigma related to metal illnesses specially substance use disorder in our society.
Elaine Bell, MSW
Received her MSW (Master of Social Work) at Indiana University in 2016 and BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) at Indiana University East in 2011. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Veterans Health Administration working with Veterans with severe mental illness in the Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery program (ICMHR).

She is also involved with the VA LGBTQ+ work group committee, well as the VA Pride Planning Committee. Before working for VHA, Elaine worked with Veterans in transitional housing at HVAF of Indiana (Helping Veterans and Families), in primary care pediatrics at IU Health Physicians, with survivors of sexual, domestic, and stalking violence at Julian Center, and hospice at Premier Hospice.”
